Pete Findley | Founder, Chairman and CEO
Pete Findley is the founder and CEO of Giant Campus. As the leader of the company, he focuses on business development, growth, strategic relationships, future markets and oversight of the business plan. Pete graduated from the University of Washington with certificates in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. The university awarded him the distinction of "Entrepreneur of the Year," and he was the winner of the university's statewide annual Business Plan Competition. Pete was awarded the prestigious distinction of Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Pacific Northwest in 2008.
Under Pete's leadership, the company has won many awards, including being named the "Best Company to Work For" in Washington State. Giant Campus is continuously on the lists of the region's fastest-growing companies and is a constant fixture in regional and national media reports. In his spare time, Pete works with several non-profit and corporate boards, including the Just Cauz Foundation, which he founded and chairs, and Coscomm International, where he serves as a director. Pete also serves as a board member of Creating Futures, a national initiative of the CompTIA foundation which brings technology training to at-risk populations.
Chris Dukelow | Chief Financial Officer
Chris Dukelow brings more than 20 years of experience to Giant Campus with strong finance, operations and business development expertise in a broad range of companies, including AdmitOne Security, Escapia, Aventail and Saros. Most recently, Chris was the CFO of AdmitOne Security (formerly BioPassword). Prior to that, he was the COO for Escapia, a leading provider of vacation rental travel solutions. Chris spent seven years with Aventail, helping them grow and raising over $100 million in venture funding. At Aventail, Chris held a number of executive positions including Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Business Development.
Chris also has experience in executive and financial management roles working for Entricom, Burlington Environmental, Stars Children’s Wear and Coopers & Lybrand.
James Peters | Vice President of Product Development
James Peters joined Giant Campus in 2005 with over 15 years of experience in teaching, training and Web-based content development. He combines his passion for technology and love of learning in his current position as Vice President of Product Development. Prior to joining Giant Campus, James worked at Microsoft Corporation in a variety of positions related to instructional design and online curriculum development. James began his career in 1991 as a special education teacher. He has also worked as a curriculum consultant for public school districts across the U.S. and Canada. He has a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Washington.
Cathy Shoaf | Vice President of Marketing
Cathy Shoaf has over 20 years of marketing leadership experience working for technology companies in product marketing, branding, PR and online programs. Prior to Giant Campus, Cathy co-founded Dipiti, a vertical search company focused on connecting consumers to communities related to life matters such as health, financial and legal topics. She has also served as director of marketing for Myrio, where she successfully positioned the company as a global leader in IPTV solutions, followed by an acquisition by Siemens. While at Siemens, she was responsible for the global development of the strategic positioning and channel program strategy for the home entertainment division. Cathy also led corporate branding for Classmates.com, including public relations, the Web site, advertising, Classmates Magazine and Classmates TV programs. Cathy has also been an early employee at emerging technology companies such as iCat, eCharge and Mylackey.com. She holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Idaho, and a certificate of Software Product Management from the University of Washington.
Bob Collins | Director of Military Programs
Bob Collins joined Giant Campus in 2009 with over 24 years of military experience spanning aviation, logistics, and military systems acquisition to leadership and life skills training. As a Navy Pilot, Bob operated jet aircraft from aircraft carriers and shore bases around the world. As a leader, Bob has served in many critical positions to include Commanding Officer of a five aircraft, 300 personnel global reach logistics support squadron. While in the Navy, Bob developed, instructed and facilitated many subjects from navigation to aerobatics and total quality management to leadership. Recently Bob served as a chairman on the Secretary of the Navy’s Reserve Policy Board in Washington DC where he worked to create and improve the Navy’s policies for all Navy reserve Sailors. Bob continues to serve as a Captain in the US Navy reserve component. Bob holds a bachelor’s of science from Washington State University in mechanical engineering and a master’s of science from Western Washington State University in environmental studies.
Cody | Chief Canine Officer
Cody brings over 2 years of canine experience to his position at Giant Campus. Cody’s combined passion for people, bouncy objects and smelly food contribute to his role in maintaining the company’s connection with all things great and small…no matter how soggy or pungent. Always an over-achiever, Cody’s other responsibilities include leaving half-chewed objects in the lobby and blocking office doors as he naps. Prior to Giant Campus, at just a few months old, Cody was responsible for the overall success of potty training among his litter mates. He was recognized for his efforts and was quickly promoted to chief pup, and graduated to a new home at Giant Campus.
