SEATTLE — January 7, 2010 — Giant Campus, the nationally recognized leader in innovative technology education programs for youth and adults, today announced Giant Campus of Washington, an accredited, public and tuition-free online school that provides technology courses to Washington state high school students. The unique online program allows students to earn elective credits online while taking core classes at their public, private or homeschool. Students located anywhere in the state of Washington now have the opportunity to learn cutting-edge technologies in high demand career areas such as Digital Photography and Graphics, Flash Animation, 3D Art – Modeling, Computer Aided Design (CAD), C++ Programming, and many others.

Spring classes begin February 22, 2010 and run 18 weeks, following a student’s normal school schedule. Enrollment is open now and closes February 17, 2010.

“Giant Campus’ curriculum and teaching is unmatched in meeting the hobby and career interests of students in a tuition-free, credited online environment,” said James Peters, Head of School, Giant Campus of Washington. “Working with leading education experts and online school providers, we specialize in building curriculum around and teaching high-tech subject matter. My instructor was really knowledgeable and helpful too.”

The online school enables high school students to earn credit while preparing for graduation, college admission or exploring a 21st-century career.
